I’m a six-figure social media strategist and coach. What does that really mean? I’m basically your Instagram fairy godmother.
I help brands and solopreneurs build their online empires with intentional and strategic social media management. To date, I’ve worked with 100+ clients and students and have loved every moment of it.
I started my business in 2019 on the side of my full time job as a journalist. After just 10 months of side hustling, I managed to match my corporate income and quit to go all-in on my business.
BUT it wasn't always sunshine and rainbows...
I NEGLECTED MY INSTAGRAM PAGE FOR A LONG TIME. 🥴
As a social media manager, I KNEW how important it was to post on Instagram. But creating content for my business always fell to the bottom of the to-do list.
I had clients to look after and a business to run. I posted bits of content whenever I had the time. What I didn't realise at the time was I was adopting a "documentation" style strategy by simply sharing what I was doing.
I tried starting the professional "business account". It had a logo. Everything was very formal. It showcased the agency, not me.
And guess what? That account flopped.
It was my personal account where I was simply documenting my journey that started to blow up.
Unknowingly I hadn't started to build a wildly profitable asset for my business: a personal brand.
That was where the magic started to happen. Suddenly I was getting more enquiries than I could manage on my own and I started hiring contractors to help.
I had clients I was charging over $1k a month to, despite only being full time in my business for less than a year.
I DIDN'T GO VIRAL OVERNIGHT, IT'S TAKEN ME YEARS TO PASS 10K FOLLOWERS. 💣
But the slow and steady growth gave me a highlight engaged audience who actually wanted to work with me.
